Over the past decade, the McReavy House of Hood Canal has undergone many changes, but one thing has never change—our commitment to preserving and restoring this remarkable historic home. You are an important part of our story, whether as a member, volunteer, visitor, donor, or friend. We are grateful for your support and hope you will continue to help us protect this treasured piece of Hood Canal history for future generations.

Last winter, we faced an unexpected challenge when years of temporary repairs to our first-story porch roof were no longer enough. To prevent further damage to the home, we undertook an emergency roof restoration project that required the roof to be completely re-torched. While this critical work safeguarded the building, it also exhausted our reserve funds and left us with limited resources for ongoing maintenance and operations.

Today, we are asking for your help.

Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a meaningful difference. Your generosity helps us preserve the McReavy House, maintain the property, and continue sharing its rich history with our community.

As we move forward, we are also rebuilding and updating our membership and volunteer records. If you would like to remain involved with the McReavy House, we invite you to renew your membership or become a member for the first time.
